Stephanie Sandler is a seasoned nonprofit strategist and consultant with over two decades of experience in guiding organizations toward sustainable growth and impactful change. As the founder of Full Circle Philanthropy, Stephanie has dedicated her career to empowering nonprofits to achieve their missions through strategic planning, program development, and operational excellence.
Stephanie’s approach is deeply rooted in a commitment to equity and inclusion, ensuring that every initiative she supports is designed to meet the diverse needs of the communities served. Her expertise spans the full spectrum of nonprofit management, including capacity building, program design and execution, financial sustainability, and governance. Stephanie is particularly adept at working with organizations during pivotal transitions, helping them navigate challenges and seize opportunities for long-term success.
Most recently, Stephanie served as the Chief Operating Officer and fractional Chief Strategist for Raise The Barr (RTB), a nonprofit co-founded by NFL linebacker and UCLA All-American Anthony Barr. RTB is committed to increasing economic mobility for single-parent students through higher education and a 2Gen approach. Since 2017, Stephanie has been instrumental in growing RTB from a small, sponsored project distributing a handful of scholarships to a robust independent organization. Today, RTB supports over 200 single-parent students and their children annually, with a budget of $1.9 million, providing comprehensive wrap-around services that create meaningful impact.
Stephanie’s portfolio of work includes collaborations with a wide range of clients, from grassroots organizations to established foundations. Through Full Circle Philanthropy, she has partnered with clients like the PDK Association, Liberty Hill, Unstoppable Foundation, and Driving Force Group (DFG), where she worked on high-profile initiatives such as the Williams Sisters Fund.
Before founding Full Circle Philanthropy, Stephanie served as the Senior Vice President and Executive Director of The Giving Back Fund (GBF) where she played a critical role in overseeing the organization’s operations and advancing its mission to provide philanthropic consulting and management services to high-profile clients. During her tenure, she led the development and execution of strategic initiatives, managed the organization’s extensive portfolio of charitable foundations, and ensured compliance with governance standards. Stephanie oversaw the execution of dozens of programming and fundraising events, including a Super Bowl party recognized by ESPN as the top event in the host city. Clients with whom Stephanie worked at GBF include the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation, the Jalen Rose Foundation, the Yao Ming Foundation, the Magic Johnson Foundation, and the Jamie-Lynn Sigler Foundation.
